As summer beckons and you close out the school year, it's a great time for you to consider trading in your old classroom devices. CTL has partnered with Google and Clover Wireless to help you determine the value of your existing devices and replace them with new devices for next year.
We know the end of the school year can be hectic, so we've made the trade-in process easy. Here's how it works in 3 simple steps:
1. Get a quote for your old devices.
You tell us what types of devices you have and who your reseller is. (This program supports any make and model of CTL Chrome devices.) Your buyback value is subject to the make, model, and condition of your device. We send you a custom quote in 48 hours, and you will have 30 days to accept your quote.
2. Ship your devices to Clover Wireless.
We provide you with a pre-paid and trackable UPS shipping label for your devices. Whether you have a single device or 500 devices to trade in, we can accommodate you accordingly with a traditional UPS pick up or a large palletized pick up.
Your shipment will be sent to Clover Wireless, who will securely remove your data and then refurbish, resell and/or recycle your old devices. We've chosen to partner with Clover Wireless because they hold the same high-quality standards in refurbishing that we've set for ourselves in equipment manufacturing at CTL.
Note: If your used devices are Chromebooks, they must be deprovisioned using the selection “Retiring from fleet” prior to being returned. For non-Chromebooks, please check with the manufacturer on any deprovisioning or data removal procedures required prior to shipping the devices to Clover.
3. Receive a credit on your next purchase.
We’ll credit your account with your reseller, which can be applied to new Chromebooks or you can request a direct payment made to your organization.
What if I'm not ready to trade in?
Even if you aren't ready to trade in your devices, we still encourage you to find out the current value of your existing devices which can help you strategize for state funding, determine your IT budget, and decide what you will need to replace in the future.
How do I get started?
If you've been thinking about trading in your devices before summer break, you can do that here through our trade-in web page. If you have any questions, send an email to Gary Welk at CTL and he can help get you started on your custom quote.
