CTL Helps You Protect Your Server Investment with the Intel Server Component Extended Warranty and Intel On-Site Server Repair

Intel Server Component Extended Warranty

Your servers are one of the most crucial parts of your business. Server malfunction can bring your operations to a standstill, costing you time and money. Fortunately, you can protect your new CTL Intel® server through two different warranty programs.

Now you can upgrade your standard product warranty for new Intel® Server Main Boards, Server Configured Systems, RAID Controllers, and Modular Server System Chassis and Computer Modules. The Intel® Server Component Extended Warranty adds two years to the standard product warranty for certain Intel products to help protect your investment.

Extended Warranty

CTL is currently offering an ‘Intel 2 Year Extended Hardware Warranty’ on three server models: the CTL Galliant™ R1208 1U; the CTL Galliant™ R2208 2U and the CTL Galliant™ P4208 4U/Pedestal servers. The purchase of an Extended Warranty for a configured system provides coverage for the Intel Chassis and installed components including the Intel® Server Main Board, power supply, fans, plug in modules and backplanes etc. It does not include Intel® RAID Controllers.

To get started, just ask your sales representative to include the Intel Server Component Extended Warranty on one of the qualifying models above.

Below are lists of what components are covered:

  • Non-Electrical Parts

With the Intel® Server Component Extended Warranty, if you should have trouble with your server, just contact CTL technical support, and we’ll help you diagnose the issue. If it is determined that resolution requires a replacement part from Intel, CTL will contact Intel Customer Support and work with them to verify the part or parts under warranty and arrange for replacement(s).

Onsite Service

While covering replacement parts with an extended warranty makes it easier for you to keep your server up and running, there are times when you need on-site repair. Intel and CTL make it stress-free with ‘Intel® 3 Year Onsite Service’. This service is available in all 50 US states and is offered as an option for the CTL Galliant™ R1208 1U; the CTL Galliant™ R2208 2U and the CTL Galliant™ P4208 4U/Pedestal servers. When time is of the essence, you can count on response time of no later than the next business day after the failing part has been identified.

It’s simple to get On-Site Repair for Servers three-year coverage to ensure you can have repair when you need it. Just purchase your new qualifying Intel® server from CTL and ask your sales rep about pricing for the On-Site Repair three year option. You must purchase the On-Site Repair warranty option within 30 days of purchasing your server. That’s it—then you’re covered!

Once you have the On-Site Repair for Servers warranty, in the event of server malfunction, you will just contact CTL technical support to ensure the issue is related to hardware, and not software or other issue. CTL will then contact Intel Customer Support to provide the serial number of the inoperative part and request on-site replacement, so you experience the least amount of downtime.
