Contest Rules

1. The CTL eBike Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
2. To enter, entrants may purchase from CTL.net from February 7th, 2023 at 12:00AM PST through 11:59PM PDT March 31, 2023 (the “Promotion Period”). Every purchase earns one entry.
3. No purchase necessary. A purchase is not necessary, and will not increase your chances of winning. A free Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) is available by filling out an entry form from http://ctl.re/eBike-Form, and mailing it to: CTL, Attn: Marketing / Sweepstakes Entry, 9700 SW Harvest Ct., Bldg 100, Beaverton, OR 97005. To be eligible, each form must be mailed via US postal service in a separate envelope. Each envelope with form received will count as one entry.
4. Purchases which are canceled, voided, placed on hold, returned, or refunded will not count as qualifying purchases.
5. Only entries received between the start and end dates specified in these official rules will be eligible to win the prize associated with this drawing (the “Prize”).
6. All entries are subject to verification prior to determination of eligibility. Any illegible or incomplete entries will be disqualified without notification. CTL will make the sole and final determination of verification and eligibility for every entry.
7. The winner will be selected by random drawing conducted after March 31, 2023 from all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period. The winner will be notified by email within five days of selection and has 72 hours to respond and confirm their eligibility before his/her Prize is forfeited and alternate winner(s) are selected at random from the remaining pool of eligible entrants.
8. Limitation of Liability Release for CTL E-Bike Giveaway
1. The winner of the CTL e-bike giveaway (“Winner”) agrees that this Limitation of Liability Release (this “Release”) is a legally binding agreement and hereby agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless CTL and its officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, “CTL Representatives”) from any and all actions, liabilities, damages or losses which may arise out of or result from Winner’s ownership or use of the e-bike awarded in the giveaway.
2. In particular, Winner understands that CTL is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from:
1. Accident or injury to person(s);
2. Damage to property;
3. Loss or theft;
4. Misuse or neglect;
5. Normal wear and tear; or
6. Any other issue related to the use of the e–bike.
3. Winner hereby releases and waives all claims against CTL Representatives with respect to all matters released herein. In addition, Winner agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless CTL Representatives from any claim by any other party resulting in whole or in part from Winner's ownership and/or use of the e–bike awarded pursuant to the giveaway.
9. The Winner understands and agrees that after shipping the ebike to the Winner, CTL is not responsible for ebike assembly, warranty, breakage, or repair of the ebike.
10. CTL reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if all rules are not followed and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if fraudulent activities are suspected or discovered in association with an entry or multiple entries from any person, group, or entity during the Promotion Period.
11. By entering this Sweepstakes, each participant consents to being placed on a mailing list to receive promotional emails from CTL.
12. All taxes associated with winning a Prize, including income taxes as applicable, will be paid by the recipient.
13. Employees of CTL, their families and agents are not eligible for entry.
14. This Sweepstakes is void outside of the United States and wherever prohibited or restricted by law 
15. Acceptance of Prize constitutes permission for CTL use of winner's name for editorial, advertising & promotional purposes without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
16. If a Prize can't be awarded due to circumstances beyond our control then no substitute prize can be offered.
