Files not following guidelines may result in poor quality imprints and may have art charges applied in order to achieve acceptable results.
* A pixel based or photographic image saved as ai or .eps is not considered a vector file.
Digital Printing Information – Full Color
- Files saved as .ai and .eps.
- Fonts in file converted to outlines
- File saved at 300 dpi or higher*
- File saved at the size to be printed – use provided template
* Files less than 300 dpi usually results in an imprint of lesser quality. Original low resolution files re-saved to 300 dpi will also result in a less than satisfactory print
Customer Approval:
- After the art is received, the customer will receive a layout to sign off on.
- Approval must be emailed back to CTL before any printing, finishing, and production will begin on your project.
Legacy Information – For Screen Printing – 2 Color
- Vector Art files saved in AI or EPS* formats.
- Fonts in file converted to outlines
- Colors in file saved as spot colors
- Colors in file – Clearly marked with Pantone
- File saved at the size to be printed – use provided template
