*LTE ACTIVATION REQUIREMENTS (BRING YOUR OWN CARRIER)
The CTL NL71 LTE is LTE ready, but does not include an LTE data plan. While the Nl71 LTE can connect to the internet through WiFi without the need for LTE, if you wish to access the internet using LTE cellular data, you’ll need to purchase a data plan on your own through your carrier (Bring Your Own Carrier). If you wish to activate the LTE device capabilities, take your device to your preferred cellular provider and have them insert a SIM card into the device. As a reminder, the CTL NL71 LTE Chromebook will still function as a normal Chromebook and will connect via Wi-Fi regardless of the LTE activation.
If activating LTE service with a SIM card you already have and on your own without the help of a phone carrier, you must use a T5 Torx screwdriver to insert the SIM card. If you prefer to have LTE service already installed and activated, please purchase the CTL NL71CT-L Chromebook with an included data plan directly through Verizon.
